HOUSEHOLD GOODS DONATION PROGRAM

Accepts new or secondhand beds and basic furniture for distribution to families in need. Offers home pick up primarily within Summit County. Accepts beds, mattresses, dressers, sofas and chairs, end tables, lamps, microwaves, bed linens, and towels. Does not accept office furniture, clothing, book cases, appliances (except microwaves), cribs, seasonal decorations, or exercise equipment.

HOURS:
- Pick-up time varies based on the availability of the donor.
- Drop off furniture at main building Saturdays from 8:00am to 11:00am.

SITE HOURS:
- Opens on Saturdays at 7:00am for check in for households with a valid voucher.
- Furniture selection starts at 8:00am.

2025 CORE Holiday Closures:
- April 19th for Easter.
- May 24th for Memorial Day.
- July 5th for Independence Day.
- August 30th for Labor Day.
- November 29th for Thanksgiving.
- December 27th for Christmas.
- January 3rd, 2026 for New Year's.

INTAKE PROCEDURE:Call to schedule a furniture pickup. Or may drop off furniture on Saturdays.




FEES:Requests $10 tax deductible donation to help defray the cost of completing the home pickup. Donation can be made in the form of cash or as a check made out to CORE.
